What do I mean? Well, actually, that’s a good question. Let’s go exploring:

Previously, I talked about our love for the iTower Mp3 Dock from Sharper Image. It stands about 4 feet tall, has many speakers and subwoofers and fits seamlessly into the corner of a room. With effects and all, it looks like an ‘I’.

Or a ‘T’, if you decide to cross the iTower with an iBeam.

What is the iBeam Speaker System?

The iBeam Speaker System with iPod Doc is a line of speakers about a foot and a half wide that is fitted with an iPod Doc on top at the midpoint. The speakers are of good quality - whatever SRS WOW technology is and provides a good sound.

With the iBeam Speaker System, The Sharper Image looks like they still think people sleep in waterbeds with bookshelf headboards - of the formative days. But, because of its unique horizontal nature, The iBeam Speaker System also fits well on desks, shelves, kitchen counters, out in the garage, or in the playroom with the TV. Because it also comes with an auxiliary port n cable, you can hook video games to it as well if you want to use it for surround sound.

Nowadays, you can find the iBeam at a variety of different shops as well as eBay and the like.

For more information on the iBeam check out Gizmodo, TechFresh, and other like sites.
