Is it possible? Might we see Eddie Bauer Sweaters and Sharper Image Nose Trimmers in the same store? The unthinkable a few years ago is becomming more and more a likely scenario.
680 News out of Toronto is reporting today that Eddie Bauer is considering bankruptcy and has as many as four potential suitors including Gordon Brothers, the Boston-based acquisitions company that recent became the proud new mamas’ and papas’ of The Sharper Image.
Can Eddie Bauer and The Sharper Image Be Cross-Sold?
Yes. (Seriously?!? Quasi-yuppie brands often “complete each other.” As often has been the case, when you put 2 yuppies together, many more yuppies are produced & many other yuppies follow along. It’s how they breed & overpopulate places with their commerce & trendy high school language.)
